Research Interests
My research explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, with a focus on automated security, privacy-preserving systems, identity management, access control, and trust. I employ controlled penetration testing, static/dynamic analysis, and longitudinal vulnerability tracking to study threat detection and patching timeline optimization. In privacy governance, I map data flows to regulatory frameworks, evaluate compliance maturity, and measure how interventions shift compliance outcomes over time. I also study the human dimension of security by assessing user awareness and privacy-related behaviors. My goal is to develop intelligent, human-aware systems that balance robust security with regulatory compliance and user trust.

- Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistants have transformed the way we interact with computers by enabling us to perform tasks and access information more efficiently. However, recent incidents involving AI assistants have raised concerns about the security and privacy of user data within the ecosystem. This research aims to comprehensively analyse the security and privacy aspects of the AI assistant ecosystem, identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, and propose robust solutions to improve user protection.
