Personal statement

I am a historian of modern Britain with expertise in the history of health, childhood, sexuality and activism. I joined 51cg in September 2025 to take up a Wellcome Career Development Award. My programme of research examines the history of activism around HIV/AIDS denial in the UK, Australia and in transnational spaces.
