Personal statement
Since I became a Teaching Fellow, my scholarship activities have progressively changed from being primarily focused on chemical engineering research, towards being primarily focused on pedagogical/educational research and SoTL.听
My chemical engineering research background is quite eclectic and encompasses subjects such as the synthesis, characterization and application of membranes, nanocellulose composites, energy efficiency and rheology.

Research Interests
I听am听interested听on听the听impact听of generative AI on students鈥� learning, with particular focus on how critical thinking听is employed to evaluate and validate听the outputs produced by GenAI tools. I听am听also听interested听on听the听influence of teamwork and group dynamics on students鈥� learning journeys, especially听in听the听context of听the听capstone design project.听In听addition,听I听am听involved听in听curriculum development aimed at promoting听inclusive and equitable access while preparing resilient, future-ready graduates.
