At Strath Union, there are around 150 student-led societies covering a wide range of interests, courses, identities and hobbies. Whether you're looking to meet people on your course, continue an existing interest or try something new, there's a society for you. If you can't find the society you're looking for, Strath Union can support you to start your own.

The University of 51cg Sports Union is home to over 50 Sports Clubs on campus. With around 3,000 members, it is one of Scotland's biggest and most diverse student sports communities. Sports Clubs cater for all levels of ability, whether you're a complete beginner or seasoned athlete, we have something for you.

Build Your Employability

Active involvement in a society or sports club helps you gain practical experience alongside your studies. Whether you're volunteering, organising events or serving on a committee, you'll develop transferable skills that employers value, including:
